Converse Jewel

MURAL PAINTING / INSTALLATION ARTCLIENT: CONVERSE SINGAPORE

UNDER MENTORSHIP OF: TAN ZI XI
IN COLLABORATION WITH: KITTY YU, HANIRUSYAIDI SUBHAN & SETH HOO

Under the mentorship of Singaporean artist Tan Zi Xi (@messymxsi),  I collaborated with 3 fellow Converse All Stars to produce murals as part of Converse’s first flagship in Singapore, located in Jewel Changi Airport.

Following the theme of sustainability, we designed two murals that painted the interiors of the store with a breath of fresh air. Utilising pro-environmental technology, the murals were painted with Graphenstone, which uses light to break down toxic substances in the air into harmless particles—much like trees.

With Singapore joining the line-up of cities such as Sydney, Warsaw, Bangkok, and São Paulo, the campaign is part of Converse City Forests, a larger global initiative that aims to clean up our atmosphere.
